By accessing 12castudios.ca and its subdomains (portail.12castudios.ca, tools.12castudios.ca), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our online services.
03Services Offered
12CA is a full-service creative studio offering music production, podcast production, audiovisual content creation, studio rental, creative direction, and training workshops.
Service descriptions on this site are provided for informational purposes. The specific terms of each engagement are defined in individual service agreements between the Studio and the client.
04Intellectual Property and Copyright
The content of this website (text, images, logos, videos, design, source code) is the property of Les Studios 12CA Inc. and is protected under Canadian and international copyright laws.
Any unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or use is strictly prohibited.
05Copyright on Produced Works
Works created through our services (music, audiovisual content, podcasts, design) are subject to Canadian copyright law (Copyright Act, R.S.C. 1985, c. C-42).
Unless otherwise specified in the service agreement:
- Copyright on original musical compositions remains with the author/composer.
- Rights to sound recordings (masters) are defined in the production agreement signed between the Studio and the artist.
- Usage licenses, reproduction rights, and broadcasting rights are specified by contract for each project.
- The Studio reserves the right to use excerpts of completed work for promotional and portfolio purposes, unless excluded in writing by the client.
We encourage all clients and collaborators to register their works with SOCAN, SODRAC, or any applicable collective management organization.
06Third-Party Licenses and Samples
In the context of music or audiovisual productions, the Studio may use sound samples, sound libraries, fonts, or visual resources under license.
The Studio commits to using only properly licensed resources and to respecting the terms of each applicable license. Clients are informed of the use of such resources in their project, and it is a shared responsibility to verify license compliance for the intended use (commercial, broadcast, etc.).
07Pricing and Payments
The standard pricing structure requires 50% payment upon engagement confirmation and 50% before final delivery. Different terms may be agreed upon in writing.
Prices shown on the site are indicative and may vary depending on project scope. A personalized quote is provided before any engagement begins.
08Cancellation and Refunds
The initial deposit (50%) is non-refundable once production work has begun. In case of cancellation before work begins, the deposit may be refunded less a 15% administrative fee.
Unused studio credits (rental) may be carried forward according to the terms of the agreement.
09Client Portal and User Accounts
Access to the client portal (portail.12castudios.ca) is reserved for active Studio clients. Login credentials are personal and must not be shared.
The Studio reserves the right to suspend or terminate an account in case of misuse or violation of these terms.
10Limitation of Liability
The Studio strives to keep the site accessible and up to date but does not guarantee the absence of errors or interruptions.
Under no circumstances shall Les Studios 12CA Inc. be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the site or its online services.

12Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the judicial district of Montreal.
